MADIKWE SAFARI LODGE
Madikwe was by far and away the highlight of our visit to South Africa with
all the staff being so friendly and helpful. Food and wine was also
appreciated but it was the wild life that took the breath away. We were
successful in 'clocking' black rhino which was our main objective but were
also impressed by cheetah and wild dogs. Too many other sightings to
mention.
Gill and I liked the enthusiasm that everyone had for conservation and the
enjoyment that they expressed about working for an organisation that puts

PHINDA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
As a guest at Phinda and Dulini, I can tell you CC Africa indeed made a difference in our travel experience. From accommodations to service to game drives to learning about the communities, these lodges were great
It's not often that a visitor is able to enjoy a travel experience coupled with seeing first hand the positive initiatives in conservation, education and health care made possible by one's tourism dollars and the owner's foundation. While at Dulini, I visited the Justicia and Lillydale communities seeing three schools, a clinic and adolescent center. The work going on there is most impressive, as is Lotus Khoza, development officer for the area. He provided information about ongoing projects at each place, as well as background and insights on the impact of the foundation's work to the local communities. As a volunteer liaison between a nonprofit organization and its 20 plus daycare agencies, I can appreciate that impact. Unique vacation experiences, along with ongoing investment in conservation development and community empowerment give you a powerful marketing platform.

Just wanted to thank you both for a rewarding day spent visiting the local
communities surrounding Phinda Private Game Reserve. It was inspirational
to see the achievements of The Africa Foundation to improve some basic needs
for these communities in such a short period of time (that are so often
taken for granted in the first world!).
